Just because you consider something racist, someone else in another country with another cultural background might think completely different.
For some people making monkey noises has zero connections to racism against black people, because it's just not a thing in their circle.
Isolated (and no English fluency) the clip from Spring could indeed be seen as racism. However it was quickly cleared up it in fact wasn't.
