What up everyone, back at it again with an original thread. Since my last post on feudal age meta was popular here
I figured why not make one for the upcoming DLC too. Now of course all this is purely speculation and should clearly be taken seriously so with that out of the way let's get straight into it.
To keep things spicy, I won't tell you the civs, just what's being dropped from all the feedback that YOU as a community gave to the devs.
So first up, we have a unique unit that deals critical hit damage. Now you're probably thing rolyshiet mr ryuna? Critical hit? What is this? Pokemon? League of the Legends? World of Warcrafters? Well yes, but with a twist. You all love RNG in this game so much that now your units have a chance to land deadlier hits. Imagine watching TheViper get 5 critical hits in a row winning a deciding match in a tournament. You love to see it while DauT lands no crits. And you all thought charged damage was perfectly balanced with no exploits.
But we are just scratching the surface. That was just one of the unique units. The other unique unit reflects 25% of damage back to any attacking unit, upped to 100% upon unit death. Finally, a unit that uses it's shield properly instead of just tanking damage. Never will you lose a micro battle ever again. If your unit dies. You can take your enemies down with them too.
But enough teasing you with the unique unit ideas. What about the upcoming bonuses. Well I'm glad you asked.
Now there is a civ that can make spears and skirmishers in Dark Age, we all love trash so much the devs said okay have it one age earlier.
Alot of you have requested an infantry buff and the devs listened. Now one of these civs can do longswordsman in feudal age and 2 handed swordsman in castle age. Ontop of a 69% Barrack tech discount. Infantry lovers. You got your wish so you deserve the perfect DLC. The devs literally want your money so pls buy it.
But maybe you just want a civ with an eco bonus. Don't worry I gotchu
One of these civs will have a universal campsite costing just 75w. An all in one lumber camp mining camp and a mill. But what about eco upgrades you ask? Yea this civ merges all of them into one. One upgrade clicks all. You love to see it. It also costs as much as one eco upgrade. Talk about efficiency.
And finally I'll leak the other eco bonus that you've all been itching to ask for. While any tech is being researched, you can create a unit on top of it as normal. Totally not broken at all. It even counts on aging up.
We have learned alot from previous DLCs. And sure some of these bonuses may get nerfed or removed but at least they're creative and totally belong in the game. Never have I once seen any top player complain about RNG in the game. From starting sheep spawning diagonally 12 tiles away to your monks getting no converts but enemy gets instant one even if you are Teutons. RNG is just part of the game.
If you read this far, I admire your effort. If you didn't and are thinking Wtf is this? I'm in agreement with you. I'm not even doing it for the likes anymore. I'm just bored and wanna go outside again.
Enjoy the new DLC, may your wishes and dreams forever be fulfilled.
P.S new thread on horse collar coming soon with all top player feedbacks (no joke)
