So to summarise the complaints about the "new Nomad":
- Persians OP (no longer relevant)
- Sicilians OP (no longer relevant)
- strong Nomad civs were nerfed
- weak Nomad civs have been buffed
- the map has less variance
Sounds like the devs are doing their job
I honestly don't see how anyone expects the devs to engage with discussion here, since pretty much every suggestion or complaint is really just a demand to reverse changes that have already been made (sometimes recent changes, but frequently changes that were introduced with DE and sometimes changes that go back to the HD expansions or earlier). In a world in which the devs based their balance changes on what gets posted here, literally nothing would change, or rather, any changes that were made would be reversed immediately in the next patch. What would be the point of even employing devs in that scenario?@doacid When the devs consistently try to flatter the community by talking about how great it is, and take such great pains to emphasize how much they care about the community and its input, then it is hard to find an excuse for the refusal to meaningfully engage the community here
- Persians are still OP just about the same level of OP as 2 other civsSo to summarise the complaints about the "new Nomad":

- weak Nomad civs have been buffed???? Please I don't even get this one there was no buff for weak nomad civs the only change they made is the dock fishing and that's the same for all civs no mater if strong or weak.
Sounds like you know nothing at all about nomad and barely understood the posts about it in this threadSo to summarise the complaints about the "new Nomad":

The same person complained in this thread that there was very few good civs for nomad after chinese and mayans got nerfed but then complained there are too much op civs with op UU that break the game.Sounds like you know nothing at all about nomad and barely understood the posts about it in this thread
I said there were too many civs with OP UU that dominate nomad, and Paint said that he would have liked Mayans/Chinese to retain their original bonuses. I can tell you're not very good at reading, but Paint and I are actually different peopleThe same person complained in this thread that there was very few good civs for nomad after chinese and mayans got nerfed but then complained there are too much op civs with op UU that break the game.
You guys like to complain and cry just for the sale of it, we get it.

Also I never complained about UU so you must be talking about someone else.Strong Nomad civs were nerfed, but only some of them effectively reducing the list of strong nomad civs from 5-6 to 3-4. The point of good balance is to make more civs playable not less...
There would be none, but thankfully for them it is pretty fanciful.I honestly don't see how anyone expects the devs to engage with discussion here, since pretty much every suggestion or complaint is really just a demand to reverse changes that have already been made (sometimes recent changes, but frequently changes that were introduced with DE and sometimes changes that go back to the HD expansions or earlier).
