So you don't want to pick a map, and you don't care what map you play on, but you cry when someone else picks a map because it wasn't randomly selected from a pool? That's ridiculous.
Wheres the preference option? So you don't want to pick a map, and you don't care what map you play on, but you cry when someone else picks a map because it wasn't randomly selected from a pool? That's ridiculous.
Wheres the preference option?
Arabia / Baltic / Arena / Ghost Lake / Golden Pit / Hideout / Four LakesOh, I don't know, the "Preferred Map" option perhaps?
Arabia / Baltic / Arena / Ghost Lake / Golden Pit / Hideout / Four Lakes
How can I prefer them all?
Nice try 111111Set preference to one, play until you play the map, and then change your preference. It's as easy as a right-click before hitting "Find Match".
I'm wondering... if they really DID fix melee pathing, maybe this is just balance since the eles will slip inside archer stacks and such, so reducing trample damage helps offset the fact that they actually DO damage now? (I doubt this was the thought process in reality)I honestly don't understand this. This is just a shitty Khmer nerf that happens to affect all the other Battle Elephant civs too. Malay pocket gets worse and you're even less likely to see Vietnamese elephants.
The whole reason Khmer pocket is so strong is because of their farm bonus. There's no other major differences to the civ between DE and HD, where they were considered the worst civ in the game. If you want to nerf Khmer elephants and pocket play fair enough, reduce their farmers working speed (which they've already done before), reverse the Battle Elephant training speed buff, or hell nerf the cost of Tusk Swords.
Nerfing a single civ in a way that affects all other civs with that unit is ridiculous. A unit that you're unlikely to see outside team games just because of how expensive it is. This is like nerfing Teutons by nerfing Paladin as a whole, it's stupid and lazy.
Also experiencing the very short micro freezes every few minutes (stutter like)... have a high end PC, 6 months old. Never had any issues so far. Was concerned it might be hardware related but seems to only affect AOE2 DE since the patch.
Do you use the built-in grid or a third party mod? Just curious because I've had 0 stuttering on this patch and I'm thinking it's mods. That's the only mod, however, where I might be different from most folks.
Are you saying you are using the built in grid or not? I can infer but you are being so indirect I want to make sure.
I'm using the built-in grid. I knew something was off about my phrasing. Just getting up though. xD
Writing anything before your coffee kicks in is a classic blunder. But if that is the interpretation then I am curious why so many people still use a grid mod rather than the built in one. There are many things about DE to criticize but the built-in grid felt like one of the better implemented features.
I can't say for sure if it's causing the issue, but it's the only thing I can think of that's different in my setup, and I don't have the issue. I know Viper still uses a grid mod as opposed to the built-in grid (which I agree is fantastic!) and I saw his game was stuttering on stream.
I don't use the grid mod, and I still have the stuttering issue. The bug is unrelated to the mod.I can't say for sure if it's causing the issue, but it's the only thing I can think of that's different in my setup, and I don't have the issue. Same here, I unselected the grid mod and the freezing remains.I don't use the grid mod, and I still have the stuttering issue. The bug is unrelated to the mod.
