What? Ok, now I know you're just ignorant. On DE its possible to add a "back to work" hotkey on villagers themselves.
So if you were to double click them all by accident. Simply presssing "back to work" would rectify it.

I think it is that telling him a fix for the problem makes it sound like you are telling him he shouldn't be complaining about the problem or that it is okay the problem is there.
Nope, quite the opposite.
Just go on official AOE forums, it might suck but at least there is more chance a dev will see it. I understand cysion does read here daily but there is more chances to be heard there than on here.
ALSO
The CM has a twitter account you could reach out to here:
Or these guys:
https://twitter.com/AgeOfEmpires
"Complain" there and maybe you will have a chance to fix your bug

And completely missed out the point where I agreed with you and said there should be an option to press a hotkey + double click.
If anyone is ignorant it's you 11
But yes, go on, take part of a quote out of context and post it on here where it won't get looked into.
Sorry. Sounded a bit like you were talking about the back to work hotkey for ungarrisoning.
Also I think it would be more productive and way easier to just gate the select all vills behind a hotkey like shift rather than adding a back to work button after u missclick them all. What if u click on a tree and then next to the tree before u relize its vills u got selected and not militias?
It would be probably easier and more productive, but as I understand HyunAOP the back to work hotkey already exists, meaning you could do that right away instead of having to wait until the devs do something or not

All good man. I'm sorry too Kappa
It exists on buildings. Just not on vills themselves. Which I've been able to replicate in single player.
I personally think double clicking vills is dumb though.

I don't understand the mocking post. This mistake happens not because of player skill issues but rather the unreliability of unit selection. It is an issue that should be fixed quickly.
I dont like that idea tbh if u pay attention to it it happens very rarely and usually u just click half the vills on a farm for exmaple and rest to wood or such and focus back in the fight. After it u can still fix the rest of the vills. Only thing i see being a problem here is that on DE if u click like 10 vills on a farm and there are like 9 more unused farms around they dont move on to the next, so if any they should fix thatHave you ever accidentally double clicked vills in a game deciding moment?
You are playing a very intense game, and suddendly you have to spend the next 20 seconds manually tasking every vil to every resoursce again, at the cost of huge idle time!
I've seen it happen to pretty much every streamer that I regulary watch, and it happens to myself at least once a week.
It is very annoying.
This issue should be the devs #1 priority to fix!. Simply add a setting to disable double click vills. (Hold down shift + double click to select all villagers.)

but thats not a problem of the game, its your problem, its called inefficent APM u sometimes dont need that many clicks but u need accurate clicks and than this doesnt happen at all. I have a like once a month only for example.Usually, it even happens when there is no fight or nothing else to look at - at least to me, and even then its enough to f*** a tight build like fc or even archers and heavilly snowball the rest of the game.
If it happens during a fight or just before, which you cant escape and have to micro, its just disaster, at least if the skill lvl is kinda simular and its a higher lvl game.
What im saying is that some players have high APM but half of the clicks are just unnecessary which results in clicking units way to often and to fast so u cant rly controll your actions sometimes and that results in double clicking vills instead of military units for exmaple. In Voobly this happened to me 1 out of every 100 games but in DE its probably around 1 out of 10-20. The difference is really noticable. Something has changed in the way units are selected, but I do not exactly know what. Maybe it's due to the changes in unit hitboxes.
It doesn't really have anything to do with APM or skill. Unless you want to argue that these new selection rules are not a bug and it's just something you need to get used to.

2 u dont get my point ofc it happens sometimes but for Viper for exmaple it might happen like once a month or myb 2 times but not more cus his clicks are always very efficent. For you it happens so often because your clicks might be fast but not efficent.Thats why i dont have it that much because my clicks are mostly very efficent even tho their relatively fast.Still happens to people like viper mbl and myself. I guess you're just too slow for it to happen.

yeah i was just trying to tell u that there are more important things then that cus u said thats the thing they should focus on the most, but then there is meele pathing and everything which is way more importantTeach me your ways, Rxndy.
J/K.
It doesn't happen very often for me. I admit my clicks are less efficient than thevipers. But it also only happens once every 2 weeks on average for me, I'd say. Still, I think should be enough reason for them to put in an option to gate it behind a shift button or something, much like changing a hotkey.
I get your point, and I just think its a bad one. Just because something doesn't happen every day for yourself, or everybody, it doesn't mean they shouldnt fix it, especially when its such an easy fix like this.
