That's the part why I decided to respond. I don't know Genette too well, but he helped me a lot with streaming, was around when I asked him and always nice and helpful, anytime I see him on any channel he's usually the most polite guy there. His AoC OBS is amazing and he did it for free (just made some crowfund for people who decided to support him if I recall correctly). On the other hand I don't read the discussion and he might be deleting the posts, but I'm sure he's not doing it to abuse "power", but to do his work according to Voobly streaming policy and for the good of Voobly/AoC + for free. And then come couple of people starting OT discussion and blaming him for his actions on public. If you don't like some actions he's doing, you can ask him via PM or you can discuss with Voobly. But all of you should be thankful we have Genette who did and is doing an awesome job for AoC. Instead, couple of individuals get together and start public blaming without him to defend. Well done guys.Your opinions in this topic...
Explained above, but for the last time, I'll explain it again here. This is a topic about another egm. Who'll post their comments here? Therefore if you have 5 - 10 posts with negative feedback in this topic, do you really think there are 5 - 10 people with negative PoV on this - like 5/10%? Either you think so - which is just stupid or you don't think so, you have no clue how many people don't like it and you'll still say - nah it's just small number of people, we'll do it this way, which is very arrogant. I don't think Zero is stupid at all, he's doing very smart steps. Example - I know many people don't like me because I say what I say and the way I say. If we make a poll on aoczone if you "like/dislike DraCoNT" about 90% would be dislike, likely even more. If I make this poll on my channel with 20 - 50 people the result will be just opposite. And then I would come to aoczone and say '90% of people likes me and support my words, there are just a few who don't like what I'm doing, so I'll keep doing it for the 90%'. That would be arrogant don't you think? At the very least Zeroempires did read & acknowledged your feedback. He even responded to you with clarifications from his point of view. He did not agree to everything you said but at the very least he did take it on board and even said that they will look to open more slots. How is that arrogant?
On the other hand we have Genette in the EGC announcement thread. He is just plain and simple deleting every post about streaming. If Zero's behavior is arrogant to you then what would you call Genette's behavior. What Genette is doing something like President passes executive order and suppressing all the discussion about it. In Genette's POV the only way discussion can happen is you write to President (his contact is there) but no discussion. Don't see you complaining about that.
It's very interesting that the Code of Conduct people are being referred to has 'encourage the freedom of expression and exchange of information in a mature and responsible manner' as a guiding principle, and yet censorship is being openly practised over there - I heard we are now at 16 censored posts. On the other hand, it seems if one submits a post which gives praise, then it is allowed to remain.
If you don't like some actions he's doing, you can ask him via PM.

How is what Genette is doing/not doing in some other topic (which I didn't check yet) supporting my PoV about escape? I was just telling you to speak to Genette, not about him. Anyways I didn't want to defend any of his actions, he can do it himself is you speak to him. That's all.So authoritarian ways are fine if they support your point of view.
Because I'm not blaming only Zero, I do blame Escape and all of the members + I thought he will use some arguments which are really interesting to see for some people. And afterall, this discussion wouldn't be worth via PM and none of us would quote any parts of it, when it would be used via PM.First of all why don't you follow your own advice and discuss with zero via PM?
Well, when I see something bad or negative which should be changed, I say to it the person responsible for that as I spoke to you here Zero. That's my way of solving things. You have chance to defend yourself and use your own arguments or explain why you doing something or not. I consider these arguments and I might find them relevant, or I might not and then will ask again, say my own solution etc. These discussions might solve something and be helpful in general. When you blame someone behind him with few other people, there is no chance it will solve anything. I've read my response twice and didn't see the thing you'd consider ironic from your PoV. The part "Well done guys." was ironic, but I doubt you meant this one.Instead, couple of individuals get together and start public blaming without him to defend. Well done guys.
Possibly the most ironic thing ever posted on these forums

I know that, it was clear to me. As far as I know, genette+chris do not intend to put this money into their own pocket, but they want to use it to fund more tournaments. I don't see how this is wrong... if you have a partnered channel, you automatically gain money through subs, and if you stream interesting tournaments, you will get more viewers, etc. As a streamer you actually profit from admin work. Why do you think it is bad to give something back? After all the money will be used to fund tournaments. (At least this my assumption.) It is a win-win situation.
