So before talking about the main title, I would like to say that I wrote some topics before about brining a better balance for the game since the game still have many broken civs and broken stuff that make the random play is just a hell with no fair chances for the players against some weird civs. It seems because the devs keep adding new stuff and new civs and new broken bonuses and ignoring to bring a better balance and nerf the strong civs, the game will never be balanced at all, and because many people think the game is fine and they don't have any incentive or or any idea how the game should be. or what is the problem because all what they want is a game have more than 100 civs and keep everything as it is because everything to them is fine regardless broken or not, fair or nor, random or pick, skill or luck! So this will keep for us only a 1 solution which is the civ ban system.
Now some of you will say no the game is balanced very well which is not, especially for those who play random, when you play random the biggest factor is LUCK not skill. If you are lucky you will get a fair match, if you aren't you will be against broken civ that you have nothing to do against and it is just a civ win. Because now we have so many unbalanced and broken civs (Britons, Lithuanians, Sicilians, Mayans, Aztecs, Burgundians, Bohemia, Huns, Franks, Cumans, Gurjaras, Hindus, Ethiopians, Mangudai, Koreans WW, Eagle line, China, etc.) the play is becoming harder and depend so much on luck if you will get a better civ or not and because most of the people are civ picker and mostly pick on of those that I mentioned for an example even in tournaments but at least tournaments have a ban system.
The civ ban system will be helpful for all, the players and the devs, for example lets say that we got a civ ban system and then the devs noticed that and say: hmmmm, why are these civs always banned?! They may start to have an idea what is going on and why people don't want to play against these civs and ban them?! For example for me personally, if we get a ban system I will ban like more than 5 civs that I see them 99% of the time because those civs no one have a chance vs them since they are broken. I mean this is really the case for now, you can't do anything as long as the devs keep introducing new broken civs with broken bonuses and not focus on doing something especially for the random player, civ pickers will always think the game is fine because they are just a civ pickers who always pick the best civs. The ban system will make the game much better, and it will fix the balance and the devs will start to make notes about why X civ is banned and why Y civ have no play etc.
