After the unrelenting onslaught of international tournaments and other top-players-related events, it seems like it is finally time for tidings from other spheres of AoC, so today we deviate from the usual and take a look at a contest held at Age of Kings Heaven, titled The Speed Contest 2010.
Although it has just [READMORELINKDOTS] rushed to its end, The Speed Contest has left some interesting results for us to contemplate. As you may have deduced from the title, its primary objective was to be fast - the contenders were to reach Castle age in the shortest time possible playing with Mongols on Green Arabia, and despite the absence of prizes, six volunteers rose to the challenge and repeatedly attempted this demaning task, testing various procedures.
After several weeks of relentless efforts, the winner – The_Biz - finally emerged, having managed to click his way to Castle age in 11 minutes precisely and setting a new record for others to beat. Naturally, there were players before him who had managed to reach Castle even several seconds earlier, Gelioryum being one of them is said to have reached it in 10:50, however eleven minutes is still considered a great feat of skill and The_Biz definitely deserves praise.
