This is a thread that focuses on the old 18 civs that received new UT's and new bonuses for some in AoFE. How do you think each of the civs will change now in 1 vs 1 play, team play, and in different types of maps?
Overall, the introduction of Hunting dogs mean that slow civs now are no longer doomed in early age open map warfare. Strengthening the fire ships and demolition ships mean that now fast castles + fire ship rushes may be more popular in team water maps, but just how more popular I'm not too sure. In BF and michi, the fact that onagers can kill trees mean that we'll probably see more ambushes, and civs that can do fast raids would go up a notch.
Each of the civs received boosts that will strengthen certain areas of the play in certain map settings, but it will take too long for me to go through them all.
