Welcome to The Delicious Duel: Jordan vs DauT!After the successful series of team showmatch madness, we are excited to announce the first ever Delicious Duel!
Robbed of a semifinals matchup by a 7/10 performing teammate, the Lord will wake to face Jordan in a 5 game match on even more delicious maps. Only the first map has been seen before, with all others making their debut appearance. This showmatch is sponsored by friends of Dragonmilk and feature a $105 prize pool.
The showmatch will happen on the 27th of September, 12pm (12:00) GMT / 8am ET
Settings:Game 1 | DDD_ Arabian Omelette
Game 2 | DDD_CheeseWhineArena
Game 3 | DD1_FishyFoccacia
Game 4 | DDD_CiderDonuts
Game 5 | DD1_WildWaffle
▶ All games are hidden pick no repeat but there is a twist! Just like in the previous showmatches, each player will ban a total of 11 civs their opponent cannot use in this match and after all of those are determined, each player will then get to snipe a civ from their banned civs pool resulting in a total of 10 civs they can't use. Since Captain's Mode doesn't support our wonky draft ideas, we will be using picks as bans.
▶ The draft order is:
ABBAABBAABBAABBAABBAAB, followed by a parallel snipe

Prizepool:▶ Winner of each map gets $20
▶ Winner of the whole match gets an additional $5 (for a combined total of $105)
All additional community contributions will be distributed in the following way:
▶ 80% to the player that won the showmatch
▶ 20% to the player that lost
If you would like to contribute to the prize pool (any amount is greatly appreciated!), please DM dangerduck#1378 on Discord.
Streaming:The showmatch is open streaming as long as you have the showmatch name in your stream title. We also strongly recommend using our glorious banner.
Maps:All of the maps featured in this showmatch are part of the "Dragonmilks Delicious Dozen" map pack. To find it, simply search for it in the in-game mod browser.
Gotta have some sort of Arabia substitute. You’ve been here before, but the duel nature makes the middle is much more prominent.
Cheese Whine Arena
It’s just Arena. Except you don’t start with a scout. Instead, you have a Siege Tower. And do mind the ponds, hills, and central relic area.
The Flaming Camel Steppe start is back in this variation of Bay. Extra stone is nestled within the baobab forests in the center while the only extra golds lie along the rocky beltway.
Wood is plentiful but localized to donuts and the back donut holes. Central stone donut will be chopped through quickly, while extra gold will require an investment into one of the side donuts.
Surf & Turf meets Golden Pit on this hybrid map. Will Demos and water control be important on this aggressive map?
