I see everyone talking about Indians, which seem pointless to me they are very well balanced and amazing civ. in my opinion.
I don't mind others discussing it but all that talks is deviating the discussion from other civs. notably Slavs.
I don't like them in Arabia right now.
okay so,
They are an infantry civ with a cavalry unique unit, which is pretty " unique " in a way that this is the first infantry civ with unique unit not an infantry ( in aoc we have, Aztecs, Japanese, Celts and vikings all infantry civ with infantry UU )
so slavs don't have good archers and have really bad cavalry, this makes it pretty wierd to play them in castle age,
The only strategy I came up with when I played slavs war with my friend was
Drush, wall with few towers, drop castle and then pumping boyars, my enemy did scouts with castle drop and lost boyar war then switch to pike but boyar are pretty good vs them because of extra armor so I won.
My strategy was decent, not good or bad, but the point is, this was like the only thing that came in my mind while playing them.
of course I can make archers and scout in feudal if I want, but I would have to make switch in units in late castle anyways with them, which I don't like.
so anyone can write good slavs strategies or how to play them in open land map is welcome
