Hi!
I recently bought a laptop (low budget one), but my main concern was that it could run AOE HD. I'm not a gamer so I wasn't looking for the most powerful laptop, so I settled for what I need. Anyway, I decided I'd buy one with a dedicated graphics card, just to make sure. Despite this, AOE HD doesn't seem to be running at 100%. It freezes for a millisecond from time to time when units are moving. It's not that my laptop can't run it, but it's not perfect, as it was in my desktop.
What could be the problem? Maybe I need to change some setting somewhere, I'm not sure.
My laptop specs are:
CPU: Intel Core i3-3110M 2.40 GHz
Video card: Radeon HD 7450M
RAM: 8 GB
It's not a bad laptop at all, despite not being a gamer computer... I find it strange that it doesn't run perfectly. According to many "can I run it" sort of websites, I should be able to run the game without any problems.
Any clues?
Thanks!
