Have any modders figured out exactly how the game computes the number of arrows a garrisoned building (such as the TC, tower and castle) fires? I've loosely calculated that it's the added attack values of all the garrisoned units divided by the attack value of the building. Blacksmith upgraded are accounted for. Villagers seem like they have a rough attack of 5 (for garrison computational purposes), and are a better garrison than archers in the early game for that purpose.
Aside from skirmishers having a low attack, the calculations do not work as it seems they still count for arrows, but have a penalty applied such that they barely count.
Besides the skirmishers, these calculations do not always hold true. Has anyone run the numbers on this? Now that population counts are much higher with UserPatch, Forgotten Empires etc., I'm curious what I should be loading in my garrisoned attacked buildings.
