Gold-demanding units are usually better than trash.
If you can afford archers, you beat 'em all, 'xcept 'course their ultimate counter, skirms.
Scouts are fine raiders 'cause of speed, but imo archers are better all around.
scouts by far..they can raid so well and move so quick..on top of that, they are the strongest single unit in feudal age and when fully upped, they are complete savages..
Skirms because my skills are very limited and skirms are a big no-no for those annoying archers. They also resist tower fire and they can survive pretty well under TC fire. They kill skirms, spears and archers.
Scouts are more fun. I think that there is nothing nicier in aoc than driving your guy crazy with 5 scouts vs 3 spears. U hit there, then run then make spear chase 1 sc and hit with others then run with others finish vil with the other scout! Its rox
I like Skirms, although I don't think they are the best option in every situation. Mainly because they are a good counter to archers without having to spend any gold, also skirms are so OP! Did anyone see that game where dauT just made skirmishers for the whole game and managed to beat a Goth?
If you are TGer like me, archers will be a favorite due to their diversity, and they will be the best unit later when pocket kts are added. Also, archers just rock.
Well I still think archers are better, they cost only gold and wood, which means u can stockpile that food to castle. I guess u could go heavier farms with skirms and castle at a similar time. But then ur left with skirms ->eskirm, which is more expensive than archer -> xbow. And then the xbow/kt combo is superior to skirm/kts.
