After seeing the draft of the last series, full bracket looks like this imo (calling it before it becomes too easy):
Vasco da Gama - Hera
Pachacuti - Ganji
Sumanguru - Hearttt
Jean Bureau - Mihai
Jadwiga - Barles
Otto the Great - MbL
Gregory VII - Vinchester
Gajah Mada - TaToH
King...
Sitaux doesn't play like Jadwiga and he also doesn't play Saracens in tournaments; Saracens are one of the biggest tells about who is Jadwiga since there are quite particular civ and there is only one player who drafts them almost every tournament set and plays them on various maps: Barles.
What's so wrong with it being public and transparent? If this case went to court, it'd be public too. It's normal for disputes to happen and they can be resolved publicly too.
While I can find it reasonable to give a fine for not attending to the interview, it can't be done in such manner. 1...
It's pretty obvious now that aoe4 won't even be close to popularity of aoe2, as a content creator it makes no sense to favor aoe4 over aoe2. It only makes sense if he likes playing and casting aoe4 a lot more. If you think twitch viewer numbers of N4C were bad in comparison to NAC3, youtube...
This is a silly comment since it's factually incorrect. They are throwing money at a lot of streamers and many of them have rejected.
For example, PENTA is similar size twitch streamer as T90 was and he rejected 5 million / 2 year contract offer from fb gaming.
I would understand any other team dropping out as aoe is not their main profession, but Gamer Legion is the only e-sports organization in the scene, their players are getting paid salary to play tournaments and still at least 2 out of 3 players are unavailable at a date they knew about weeks in...
Judging whether a civ is OP based on narrow game theory perfect play is silly because it only applies to 0.01 % of playerbase. Obviously at the highest level villager rush was a suboptimal/losing strategy even for Incas.
But for vast majority of playerbase villager rush was OP, and there was...
Even after game 1 of first set against mbl you could narrow it down to two players only - Viper and Hera. Nobody else plays like that stylistically. Admiral played each game at insanely high level, he isn't playing any better this set.
Jordan (Ivaylo) just had soft pairings in first two round...
There was a re in HC3 main event, which is the last time Viper (Admiral) played in hidden cup.
Viper did very little to hide his identity this time. He played every set 100 % seriously, starting from the draft. In HC3 he didn't even pick Islands as his home map until finals. Watch the gameplay...
Here is my prediction after all sets have been played:
Warwolf = ACCM
Jacqueline = Villese
Tricky set to guess without process of elimination, but there are many signs for Villese being Jacqueline (Mayans game 1 and Huns game 2 were played exactly the same as against classicpro in qualifiers...
Admiral = Hera
I'm not sure why Admiral is such a mystery to many people. First off, his initial chat interaction screams Hera. Looks like Hera and mbl knew they were playing each other from the start. Then the way game 1 was played with Lithuanians it pretty much narrows down options to two...
Jacqueline - Villese
Warwolf - Jordan (unsure)
Master of the Templar - MbL
Admiral yi sun-shin - Hera
Harald Hardraade - Vinchester
Sundjata - Mr. Yo
Pope Leo - TaToH
Gonzalo Pizarro - Daut
I think after tomorrow it should be pretty easy to tell who everyone is. I'm only confused about...
Harald Hardraade - Vinchester
Kinda obvious, his draft is identical to qualifiers where he often picked Italians and Portuguese first two picks as part of his drafting strategy. Gameplay just confirms that it's Vinchester in every way.
Sundjata - Mr. Yo
Aztecs on Arabia is very Yo-like...
Jacqueline is Villese and Warwolf is Barles.

Villese played Mayans game on Arabia identical to game 1 (Wheelbarrow timing, eagles/crossbows, fwd siege) and same goes for Cross game with Huns. Also his draft matches with his draft patterns...
Burgundians are straight up bad.
They have pretty much no bonus in dark or feudal age, the only thing you get is double bit axe and bow saw on the way up which results into like 40 wood more each time aging up. So against most civs that have early game bonus you are already behind. Then you...
