yes, you can already mute and report people for in game harassment. The filter doesn't prevent bad behaviour.
Well maybe if the filter wasn't so braindead it wouldn't censor the word douche at all or atleast it could censor only the perceived bad words, instead of the whole message.

Basically title.
We all know the chat filter is broken and usually does more harm than good.
It censors completely random words in one language because they are swear words in some other language. Brilliant idea, I hope that guy got a raise. 5Head.
Sometimes it censors a long sentence for...
You are completely misinterpreting the point. I want something between mirror maps and what we currently have and it still leans heavily to asymmetry. There is middle ground between things. This is not a black or white problem.
It's more like me saying "I just want a sandwich with mayo" and...
Did I ever advocate for literal mirror map or mirror matchups? I said it before and I'll say it again. I just don't want a tournament game be decided by a map that makes one player have forward gold, stone berries and hills, with no ability to wall. Meanwhile his opponent can full wall easily...
That might have been true before, but the player base was smaller and the skill cap was lower. If todays players were pitted against each other on those maps, I would imagine that hell would break loose over map generation.
Aside from the technical aspects, I believe many players also doesn't agree that this is necessary. I would love to hear what top players would have to say about this.
Why would that be so? I'm not arguing for making maps mirror, just to tune down the randomness a little bit. Just because some tweaking is done to the map, doesn't mean we are on a road of making maps completely mirrored, without the ability to stop.
Changes similar to the ones suggested were...
I feel like I got my point across in a wrong way... these changes would make the map far from mirrored. They would just remove the maps which were deemed unfair in tournaments. We all saw them during KOTD3.
It would be like having a judge being able to decide that a generated map is too unfair...
Wouldn't it be right to ensure that if one players golds are exposed, the same should be true for his opponent? The golds can still go wherever, but the point would be to make them equally exposed.
I thought that might be so. Would it be possible to make some post map-gen algorithm that would...
Having played a fair share of games and watched plenty tournaments, it too often seems to me that map generation favors one player over the other. This can be done in many ways, some of which are:
One player has an easy time full walling his map, while other is forced to play open.
Player has...
