Well, one thing we might take away from this is that the new owner will have to make at least 32.5 million dollars with its investment, and we all know where this money will come from (us, likely).

I would like to add that the 'opponent picks your civ' rule probably is not intendet to give the choice wheather to punish or not punish your opponent who made a mistake but to allow you to pick what you think is the worst civ for them...
I personally like the idea of voicechat highlights.
But if only one good team decides to not attend because of this I would prefer to have the team attending rather than having this nice to have feature. And I can fully understand why you could be unconfortable with it.

Thats also true, but if its not a problem at pro level then we know for sure that there is a solution to it (just look at what the pros do to counter/prevent it). Of course this wont work for every balancing problem, but this one seems not that bad.
