This is what I liked in this event:
- Well thought out map pool
- Civ settings
- Seemed like the experience of previous two NAC tournaments helped make this one run so smoothly
- Dave + T90 very good additions to the casters
This is what made me tune in:
- High level gameplay
Liverpool can win. Real didn't look overly impressive in both the quarters and the semis imo. Liverpool were dominant against Man City and I dont think the score against Roma was accurate to the way they played. Liverpool were way better both offensively and defensively. I'm calling an upset.
Use your hotkeys, flank, line, aggressive stance, stand still stance, patrol, etc
Also always use the map, look for hills to fight on top off, or choke points for your xbows, etc
Finally use control groups
Hope this helps
Yeah the community wasn't too bad back in the day, now its a miracle to get 4 people online...
Anyways thanks I looked into bootcamp and will probably do that, only reason I was going to move over was for AOE as I prefer Apple
Does anyone know a good laptop that would work well for university and AOEII?
I am just moving over from Mac as the community is basically dead over here :(
Any suggestions are great, thanks in advance
Just an idea, would it be possible to make new accounts have to play a certain amount of games before it started gaining points towards a ladder? You could make a new account have to play 100 games before gaining points and I doubt people would be willing to make a smurf (or many smurfs) if this...
