I agree with this. I feel like in RTS the macro cycle should be less intense once you reach late game. You don't see casters doing action replays on players reseeding farms and queuing up knights at stables.

Masters of Arena specifically state SQ is required. I think it can be locked down in the settings.
I believe in ranked games you have the choice. But most, if not all tournaments require you to use SQ. I feel like you want less demand on APM to manage your macro so that the more exciting parts of the game can get more focus.
I am curious to know why in most (or all) tournament settings it specifies to use single queue rather than multi queue.
Isn't multi queue a superior mechanic? Are people forced to use SQ just because that's how it was in the olden days? I feel like SQ favours those with more APM to spare
