Re: Spectator Dashboard 2 (latest 2.1)
I seem to be having a problem with the dashboard. About half the time I try and use it, the dashboard will start up in the browser and display the player names and the map, but wont show any other data as if the game had never started. Any idea why this...
How would this imbalance the game more? Huns, Maya and Aztecs are still the strongest civs on land and vikings on water. Other civs are just slightly more competitive now.
Units that were never created are now more viable, but they still arn't top tier units.
Technologies that were delayed...
I really like some of the ideas in this patch especially the added population cap for military buildings. You could use this idea to balance weaker civs without making multiple changes or nerfing stronger civs. However, I think this patch still makes too many unpopular changes. Here's how I...
This isn't trying to perfectly balance the game and solve every issue. The idea is to implement the few balance changes that the community agrees on. Vikings would still be over powered on water, but with the suggested changes, the advantage they have would be slightly smaller.

Dear Voobly,
While watching the Nations cup, it’s clear to even a casual viewer that there are balance issues with the game. In almost every game, you will hear an expert caster comment that a unit, civilization or technology is overpowered. Even with hidden civilization enabled, the same 4-6...
Does anyone know hard would it be to patch the game so you could use hotkeys to research technologies in buildings? For example you could hit a hotkey to research loom.
I don't know anything about scripting, but i'd imagine it wouldn't be too challenging. It's not a major issue, but I think...
I agree with you for the most part, but making changes one at a time over the course of years is impractical. This would fragment the game into way too many versions and would require having the community agree on every change. I just don't see it being successful this way.
As dfs said in...
+1 on improving Britons navy. Instead of giving them cannon galleons and making them a Spanish water clone, they should get free shipwrights in Imperial age to compensate for their weak early water game. This would make them unique and add a bit more civilization variety.
Losing 10% of the bonus in feudal age seems like a lot. I'm curious how they would compare now against other top tier water civs
It would be cool to see vikings transport ships get a bonus +5 carry in feudal and +10 in castle and then remove careening and dry dock from their tech tree...
