Honestly the only one I can think of is bruh vs saymyname from the last Visible Cup
That said if we're being honest it's probably mostly due to how rare bo7s have become in recent years..
Even in semi finals of tournaments we've kind of normalized doing bo5s
They showed images of AoE, AoE2DE and AoE4
no mention of AoE1
It's this logo
Since with 2 they made a clear distinction between 2DE and 2(og AoC) I think we can safely assume that they meant to include AoE's logo as a general 'brand of the tournament', unless we follow the implication that...
If this turns out to be a combined IV+II event, then what a bizarre choice..
I have nothing against AoE4, but it feels like separate events would work to both games' benefit, but maybe I'm wrong and that's the only feasible way they could do it?
Good to see that RB isn't quite yet finished...
I'm not a big fan of how many civs we have in the game right now, but still this period when the new civs are still fresh and everyone is trying to figure out how to play them is always super fascinating to follow, so I'm looking forward to the tournament ^_^
Is there a specific schedule available anywhere? like the order of casted sets with the approximation of when they will start? The "schedule" on liquipedia has 2-3 sets happening simultaneously tomorrow
Also not that it matters but a small typo in the post: "Liquepedia" ^^
I LOVE YOUU <3
I've said this before already, but your podcasts have really become easily my most favorite pieces of AoE-related content whenever they come out.
Is there anything we could do to support you so they can perhaps happen slightly more often? donate somewhere or something?
Thanks! I will check the video out
and yeah, you are right, my goal is to go through the entire franchise at some point, but I realize that it's going to take me a loot. Maybe I could dedicate a few weeks to it next summer if things align ^^
In the meantime, based solely on the recommendations...
Hard for me to say anything valuable in this topic. Me being relatively on the younger side + videogames and consoles being borderline inaccessible when I was growing up prevented me from really getting into the FF series at its peak
Only thing I can say is that since July...
In fairness AoE2 is on Game Pass too, and Game Pass players are probably also more likely to drop the game overall(less money invested = less willingness to make the most out of the game)
The point still stands though, that the player numbers on Steam are more or less irrelevant.
