I'd love if there was some sort of smart select; like when you drag and select a bunch of units, it would select either only villagers or only military units based on which were more numerous. Or if it could only be one or the other only military units.
I like the idea of improving the swordsmen line. Right now, they're a black sheep of a unit that doesn't get used until Imperial, typically. Making them worth their cost would also liven up feudal wars immensely by providing a fifth viable unit.
I don't know which AIs they were (used the random setting), but I did try and taunt them into attacking. Sometimes they refused, and other times they didn't respond.
Just played a pair of 3v3 team games with the AI. In both games, my AI teammates would refuse to attack the enemy - they'd make units, but they'd just stand around their production buildings until an enemy came near. This was extremely frustrating, especially because both times all 3 enemy AIs...
I've been playing a bunch of team games versus the various AI, and it looks like Barbarian is by a fair margin the strongest. Maybe because of its versatility? I'm not sure. Principality can be pretty good if it is left alone, but has difficult defending in the early goings.

Perhaps making the AI wall-off if it goes grush on a mixed map? Or basing its strategy on the amount of deep-water fish it scouts in the Dark Age? I have no idea...
I really like this AI. Previous AIs were not well balanced, in that on Hard they were way too easy to beat and on Hardest were impossible.
Its obvious weakness is on the mixed land/water maps. I think it goes too far with the grush, especially because it doesn't wall off or make any attempts...
