It depands on what we mean by 'Historically correct'
The idea of chivalry was brought to Britain by the normans after 1066 - the tradition
celebrated its peak with the order of the Garter formed in the 14th century
So if we assume that the in game britons are the "anglo-saxons" than cavalry isnt...
The Britons - excellent archers, great infantry - it's only fair that they get mediocre cavalry..
The question is will they become OP if they receive a small boost to this weakness?..
Getting Paladin is out of the question- that leaves 2 options:
1.Bloodlines - in imp age britons cavalier &...
Re: Why I can watch my recorded games?
I have the same problem when i download AoFE games from the site - the same message pops up when trying to replay..
While not 100% certain i think that it has something to do with the fact that games online were played with a previous patch (not the 2.1...

About garrisoned healing - there are too few buildings that could be used for that purpose and the...
That too will need much testing - as stated many times mangudai true forte lies in the almost instant fire rate.
Elite mangudai mop the floor with any cav archer - even the new beefed up turkish HCA..
Decreasing CA cost will (again arguably) give the mongol player a backup unit until mangudai...
Stat wise cav archers are good as they are - the problem is their cost.
In AoE 1 & Ror horse archers were the best non siege unit-the whopping 50 food 70 gold cost(1500 food 800 gold for the upgrade) was justified by their effectiveness.
In AoE 2 Cav Archers got their wings clipped while...
Do you think that the new Cav Archer gold cost will really make the nations with the key upgrades (Bloodlines,Parthian tactics,Bracer etc.) focus on producing CA's instead of foot archers?
I personally think not..
CA cost should be lowered even a bit more along with hun bonus
