Re: Arabia 1v1 Invitational Bracket
Just one unlikely scenario for people who like hypothetical thought experiments:
Imagine two players facing each other in the group stage, one of them being significantly stronger than the other.
Then imagine that the two players don't like each other at...
Well, DauT may not be on the absolute top in terms of pure 1v1 skills (though still very very good), but he definitely is in terms of Mayan TG-play. His slinging role is as strong and the sling going to him can win even hopeless games.
Having Viper in the position of the Hun player and RiuT...
Re: Lanchester's Laws Applied to the Paladin Upgrade Questio
that could work, nice idea :)
for all non-mathematicians here: 'monte carlo' practically just means making a program that simulates it loads of times
I have checked this game out and spent probably way too much time there the last few days.

While it may be appropriate for a chess grandmaster to refer to his 2k1 colleague as 'new player', the same term will be considered a broad offense coming from a 1k5...
Watch your language.
I consider it highly inappropriate to speak of any of these players being a 'noob'.
It may be true, that they lack the 1vs1 top-class of the players teaming up against them, but still it seems to be a solid 2k+ formation.
Similarly, in chess, where this elo-system comes...
Imagine they would have used skype or teamspeak instead of the ingame-chat. No one would have known about their "rage". No one to notice, and therefore no threads about their "offensive" behaviour.
So even assuming them having broken the rules, punishing these actions may be correct, but still...
kkab pointed out that they were focusing on the Grand Final. And - it seems as if it worked. Congratulations to Tyrants Legends for a really awesome play during the last months!
