I fail to see why this is funny.
Unless you are still learning the game, which I'm guessing you are, the first few minutes of the game (aka Dark Age) aren't demanding strategy-wise.
You're just building eco and scouting. There aren't many options for anything else.

You can just double the price for Feudal. Dark Age is almost without meaning/strategy.
Finally someone came up with drushing - which became the norm- but with 500F, that's just about the extent that Dark Age can reach strategy-wise.

You cannot have it all. Besides, you pump knights to harass the enemy economy. It's not about producing an entire army to immediately win the game.
Having a production building doesn't mean that you have to keep pumping constantly from that building.

I didn't know about the real cost of TC repair - which indeed upsets things a lot.
However, I still think that if you can keep your eco running, produce 'em vills etc, you're gonna win.

Imo if you continue to run your eco, producing vills non-stop, you'll have an easy time beating him/her.
Remember that repairing the TC doesn't cost stone, just wood.
Don't tell him anything.
Just use the counter units to show him that in AOE there isn't a single unit to beat them all. This isn't LoTR.

Got a friend who missed the Steam sale for about $6 iirc in the summer for the African Kingdoms (the whole package), and has been w8ing 4ever for it to pop up again... :-(
I haven't seen many experts throwing up walls to avoid raids, so I was wondering if just keeping pressure on the opponent combined with good building placement is sufficient and walls are there just to fill the gaps. :?:
