The game now have many civs and for each civ there are 2 UTs, however, most of them are good but many others are really bad and almost useless in most situations. There are strong civs who have bad UTs (like Huns imp UT or Chinese castle age UT or Cumans imp UT) but it is fine becasue those civs are too strong and all need nerfs so their bad UTs should remain bad anyway.
I won't talk about the strong civs that have bad UTs but I will talk about the weak/mediocre civs that have bad UTs that may need a change.
1-Celts
I think that Celts have one of the worst tech trees in the game, and mostly their play depends on all-in push (Hoang style) since their tech tree is really bad and not helpful that much, they have bad stables, bad ranges and even their infantry just move faster unlike other civs who have cheaper or stronger infantry. However, I will talk about how their castle UT is so bad.
They have a laughable UT called (stronghold) that make their castles and towers fire 25% faster, which is completely laughable UT and useless and not worthy at all to be a UT more than being a normal bonus. IMO this UT shoould be a normal bonus and give them new UT or just remove it completely and give them something else.
2-Burmese
I think their imp UT Manipur cavalry is one of the worst UTs in the game, it is uncreative and so boring, Persians already have +2 vs archers for free for example. The devs gave them this UT and they thought it is a good solution becasue they are bad vs archers, but it is a very bad solution and in general Burmese have FU Hussar and great cavs which both of these units are good already vs archers late game and they have super tanks elephants. Turks don't even have Eskirms and they are fine regardless their +1Pa for light cavs. The Burmese civ needs something better than this Ut. Anyway I am not here to discuss Burmese in general, but this UT is laughable and so bad and need a change.
3-Incas
I am not sure about this, but their castle age UT (Andian Sling) that remove the minimum range from their skirms and slingers is just bad and not worthy at all and usless in most cases and they may need something else.
4-Malians
Malians are really great civ and so flexible and have many good bonuses, however, I think their UT (Tigui) is just troll and need to be replaced with something else.
5-Mongols
Their nomad UT is another laughable UT and useless and it should be actually a free bonus more than being a UT, this UT need to be removed and give them something else like maybe a new UT called Khanate that makes their steppe lancers attack 20% faster or something.
6-Persians
Their imp UT (Mahouts) is just another useless UT in most cases, it makes their war elephants move 30% faster, this unit is already rarely to see, and it is even not worthy to make a UT for it. Khmer for example their elephants already have bonus speed for free. IMO this UT should be removed and give Persians another UT, like maybe we can give them a UT like the spy tech, but unlike the spy normal tech, this new UT will make all the enemies military units visible for 10 mins only for example? Anyway Persians IMP UT need a change.
7-Saracens
I wrote a topic before about Saracens UTs and how they are both bad and those UTs are not worthy to be a UTs more than being a normal bonuses. Like Zealotry should be a normal bonus like camels have+10% hp in castle and +10% hp in imp and give them new UT like Arabian horse for example that make their scout line have more hp and more attack. And their new UT too (counterwight) is just bad and need to be replaced with something else like maybe Zakat that make all their gold units return 33% gold when they die.
8-Italians
Their imp UT (Silk road) is completely useless in 1v1 becasue it is just trade units discount and even in team games it is only shine in very late imp which the game will be almost done already or like closed games like blackforrest. I mean Spanish for example their trades work 25% faster as a free civ bonus which is more practical at least than imp UT.
9-Tatars
Their imp UT (Timur siegecraft) is great already but I only have a small comment, I think the flamming camel should be available in imp with no need to research this UT.
