So first of all I play at a 1350 DE Elo level so everything I write is from that perspective.
Ever since I started playing more water maps because DE forced me to I noticed that people at some point switch to Galley this usually leads to them losing water (this is both for me and my opponents) this has been true on TI and is even more so now on Medi. But whenever I watch water maps played in tournaments on twitch the casters usually drop a line like "I think it's time to switch to Galley". In my experience the only time this actually works is when water is already won so you can control the shoreline after the fight for water is over. So my question is when is it actually time to switch to Galley or is that just an urban legend?
