Tatoh was invited (as a replacement to yo) before the qualifier even began. That makes him part of the initial invitee pool thus the top10 LAN eligible players via the ranking system.
Everyone after should be susceptible to qualifier rules.
It's a bit of wishful thinking, not the reality. Reality is Redbull made invite take precedence over qualifiers all the time. There were 2 qualifier spots. Done. They were filled, done with qualifiers. Now it's 100% priority for invitees again. "**** the qualifier guys", they could be thinking.
Since ACCM's spot was invitation, it's only logical that this got to be filled by another invitation. That's the most logical interpretation, maybe not the most fair to our hearts, but in this case I think it makes sense.
They should've made spots 50/50 qualifier/invitations, then all this situation would've been avoided. I complained about this even before. And people probably thought I was just a troll complaining about the format just for the sake of it then. Now we see the shitstorm it has become, with consequences until now.
(theoretical example)
Given the position we are in, a fair question to ask would be, should jordan drop out due to unforseen reasons, what criteria applies? Do we take lets say LaaaaN as he is next in line? But then had jordan known before he could not play, a case could be made Kasva would have advanced. So we just made entire top bracket of the qualifier obsolete. If we take kasva, is LaaaaN now treated unfairly as we suddenly stop using the ranking?
Then it should be qualifier criteria, since the spot was occupied by a qualifier guy. So it's Kasva the logical option, since he was the one competing with Jordan, and would have qualified in case Jordan has dropped out before. If they filled a qualifier spot with another invitee, then yeah it would make no sense at all.
He said exactly the same you already said, with other words. Don't get what you're trying to add here.champion calm down, be fair and read glx_rusher's post
So you aren't after a rational solution, you just want to force a solution to your demand, no matter if it makes sense or not.The problem isn't whether Tatoh will accept the invitation or not. The problem is that people who deserve it aren't invited here.
