Participation
Registration
For this instalment of Red Bull Wololo, smash.gg will be used to handle registration. The instructions below should help you properly register for the event.- Create an account if you do not own one already.
- Visit the tournament page here.
- Click the Register Now button on the left side of the page.
- Ensure that your name is correct.
- Select the Qualification Stage.
- Connect your Discord account to verify that you have joined the official Discord server.
- Provide your first and last name.
- Provide your Steam or Profile ID. Instructions on this will be found on the registration form.
- Go to checkout to complete your registration. Do not worry; there are no costs tied to the registration.
Check-In
Check-in is match-specific, which means there will not be a global check-in process prior to the event, but instead, individual check-ins before each matchup begins.Once a matchup becomes available, you will have precisely 20 minutes to check-in before getting automatically disqualified.
You may check-in by going to your match, going to tasks and clicking the check-in button. Once you have checked in, it is important that you remain available so you may start your next match as soon as both contestants have checked in.
Communication
It is vital to communicate appropriately with your opponent. Players must use the chat feature to do general communication and drafting.In the case of an issue or dispute that cannot be resolved between the players, a moderator can be requested by clicking the link underneath the chatbox.
Reporting Scores
Both participants must report the final score to confirm that the scores are correct. Once a score is reported, the opponent will have ten minutes to either confirm the reported score or dispute it.If a dispute cannot be settled, players must provide the recorded games on Discord for an administrator to investigate.
