It is a game taunt, but it's worth saying it is a taunt for giving AI players instructions, not exactly the same as one designed for human to human player interactions105 is a game taunt.
Okay, I actually watched the rec for this one. I don't think Redi was being toxic initially, he was just stating his position in the game. However, saying 105 is clearly crossing the line and not finishing the game is also a bit weird. Just end the game and don't stoop to the level of the opponent.
I do think this topic touches on an important point though. It seems, especially at the high levels (2k+) we have a lot of players that seem to play on for ages despite being in a position that is clearly lost, I know when the game was active and lots were playing this frustrated me a lot also. One commenter suggested that because there was only a 1k score difference that the game was potentially close, but having watched the rec, that was only because of useless water score and the fact that Redi was trading eagles under the town center to end the game. Of course, it is up to the player and only the player when they resign, but I guarantee 99% of experts know that the position Darknoob was in was completely lost. Overall, however, I am genuinely impressed how both managed to behave so childishly.
To conclude, I think most have missed the real tragedy shown by this thread, the fact that arena players have to play cross. Hopefully, the next map pool will give more options for them. #justiceforclowns
It's fair to say 2k3 if you get up to that rating and stay there for awhile though. You are not 2k3 and neither is darknoob. Shitty thread
