Hi guys,
I miss AoC days, playing Gameranger different scenarios or Voobly to rank with Userpatch. I haven't played in years, and I never really enjoyed playing AoE 2: DE, honestly when I play it it feels like I'm playing a game in Beta state. I'm not only referring to some embarrassing bugs or the disgusting pathfinding, I'm also talking about the "feeling" of it. I just can't help but feel this is not the game I love and grew up with.
This is actually to see how you guys got past this feeling if you even had it... I don't mind casting and watching games, I actually think it kind of looks ok, but I just can't play and enjoy it. Is it just blind nostalgia or is there something to it? Everything feels so much worse, and I think 60% of the civs should disappear.
Anyway, I wanted to see if this is just a me thing and there's no way arround it, or perhaps some mods+settings can help me feel more like home.
Cheers,
