If any future tournament agree to use at least one Mangrove map , I maybe consider (just consider but not sure) donating some money to the prizepool of this tournament. Why not consider using some of MSC maps (or other unknown maps that include large area of Mangrove Shallows)?I recommand some original Mangrove Shallows maps that created by Chrazini , such as MSC_Sonder.
Whether you admit it or not , Mangrove Shallows ought to take an important place in WololoKingdoms. However , most mappool of AOE2 tournaments always avoid any Mangrove maps.It is regrettable.(Thanks to the MSC hosted by MembTV , gave audiences more chance to see some games on Mangrove maps.)

amazing argument.how about no
I feel like that is not really going well together with fixed positions thoughAnother thing that would be really nice to see: mappack games (with either free pick or TR). I think the last time we have had that was Clan Masters. The good thing about these was, that teams had to practice all maps, have a good plan and needed to adapt to all maps and not just arabia + some HM.

Please limit the number of maps with gimmicky shore fish for the sake of not seeing sling-to-indians-every-single-game.
that's not really an issue, it makes it actually fairer. First of all ofc it's possible to program that (just copy pasta everything together and put a few if clauses), second is it balanced? For free pick teams will have to search a good civ setup combining both, strength on halfwater/water maps and normal landmaps. Idc what civs they gonna pick exactly for it, but you could eg go for persia/malian pkt and italian/malay flank, but this might vary a lot, so you might see quite some varity in civ matchups. On top of that ofc you can always gamble a little bit and focus either more on Landmaps or Water/halfwater maps, but thats exactly which makes it so interesting, teams have to find the right approach that fits to them. Thats why i would love to see it.
how about disabling indians shorefish bonus?
I know that you can give someone an advantageous position like extra TCs or extra res, but there isnt a command to make the spawn civ dependent. Unless ofc Henk or someone knows some command that i dont know. The only working way is freepick afaik. Is it possible to force the pockets to mirror each other? If it is then full mirror/team random on mappack games make sense, but if it isnt it would kinda suck to get franks pocket vs frank flank on an ara style map. (exactly the reason that Fixed Position is wanted)

So how is it fairer to use tr with fixed position?
At least with your own picks you can get a decent pocket civ all the times.
one mangrove tournament is enough for next 5 years.
I hate water maps and water units in general. What do I hate more, water units fighting on land against land units.
