No, they are free to use whichever player composition they like, and they can sub players in/out whenever they wantFor teams with two players + one backup, do they need to keep playing with the same two players in one set of games, or can they freely alternate between players?
Eg. Game 1 players A and B, game 2 players A and C, game 3 players B and C...
Sorry about the silly question, but I don't remember correctly hiw the draftciv/civ picking process is. Each team draft 1 civ for themselves and 1 for the rival team, but then, each team chooses both civs for each game, right? (I. E. You only get to draft the civ for one pool, but you're free to chose which civ to use for each game from both pools, right?)
Yes, you are free to choose any civ you want from each pool yourself. So you chose both your civ for each map, then? (one from the pool you drafted and the other from the pool your opponent drafted)
Your question is legit and I hope it will be answered soon for you. But do you miss any team here ? We have 4 teams from the top 2 teams, and then 1 team each for Vietnam/China/Suomi/Brazil resp. Heresy. I think thats fair. How were the invited teams decided? Based on Two Pools 1 results?
Dont really miss a team, but was just curious. There are 8 qualification spots, so all the other well-known names will probably make it to the main event anyway. I was just wondering how the invitations were decided and also how the teams were decided. Like, why not Viper+Jordan and Tatoh+Daut for example. Not saying that's what the players wanted, but just giving an example.Your question is legit and I hope it will be answered soon for you. But do you miss any team here ? I know this has been cleared up already, but just to add: Viper/Tatoh and Daut/Slam were also GL's combinations in 2v2s pastLike, why not Viper+Jordan and Tatoh+Daut for example.
Yes yes, I know. I just gave some names as an example. My main question was how the teams and who gets invited were decided. And the seeding spreadsheet explains that a bit.I know this has been cleared up already, but just to add: Viper/Tatoh and Daut/Slam were also GL's combinations in 2v2s past
Is there some place in the rules that explains this? I missed a lot of the first event, so not sure how this was done in practice. Do draft one draft completely first, then start the other? Which one is done first? There are two drafts, with each team picking n civs in each draft for a best of n series. The first draft is for the civs that you want to use yourself and the second draft is for the civs that you want your opponent team to use.
For each game, a team chooses 1 civ each from both the drafts.
This time around it can all be done via captains mode (thanks to @hszemi who is awesome), previously I think it was done via players talking with lidakor and a spreadsheetIs there some place in the rules that explains this? This question is still unanswered.Am I seeing it correctly, that there is no restriction in slinging this time ? Was looking forward to more coinage fails Kappa
Regarding Slinging: We will use a similar system to WC2020. The player that wants to send resources needs to be in imp to be allowed to do so.
About Bo3s: It was not considered, and is quite unlikely it will be
