~~2014-ish, rather mid-high grade bussiness-type laptop here, with i7-3540m and 8 gigs of RAM, even in 1v1s on lowest settings possible DE ran only "fine-ish". And, mind you, these specs are, as far as I can see, far above DE's minimal requirements as provided by the devs, to claim that it's not a problem is ridiculous.
People here talking on how streaming on Voobly might be somehow worse or more difficult than DE, but until CaptureAge is released on DE(if it will be at all), DE will always remain far worse for spectating games
To an extent, I guess, the decision on whether NC should be played on Voobly or DE should largely depend on how long we/organizers are willing to wait to see if the DE team will fix some of the problems that they have at the moment. However, given that according to robo's schedule the qualification stage is to start in february(that's just one month and a half!) the chances that DE will be better than Voobly+UP+CA+WK by then are rather low
