Racism and straight-forward insults in the locked thread.
The racism accusation I can easily dismiss as being absurd. Apart from that the insults are almost traditional in AoE, I find it quite amusing how popular the "fdp" is in age of empires 11

if insults are so traditional in AoC what's the problem with the stuff Katsuni said? It's 100% acceptable too I guess by that logic.
Get your biased fan boy arse out of here, you're helping no one.
Voobly works for AoC.
Zeroempires for himself.
I Don't think there is much to debate here

Well, to be honest, I don't actually have a problem with what Katsuni said 11, other people, such as ZE, have a problem with it.
Find it amusing that you call me a fan boy 11, whose fan boy? I am no ZE subscriber, don't have AoE HD and do play on voobly. Problem voobly fan boy? 11
Harryhannes again grow a pair of balls and post with your main nick troll.

Sometimes two things can't coexist no matter the effort put. I don't see why Katsuni should apologize when much is said behind closed doors, that goes for Zero as well. All in all, both parties are working towards the same goal and it's common that this type of emotional reaction happens. I personally enjoy both streams and sincerely believe not working together is a better option (though I prefer a collaboration).
I thought including Viper as a second neutral party might be a good idea. He is not part of this drama as far as I know, and he is an authoritative community member and level-headed guy. I basically wanted to avoid having three Voobly members vs Zero, with only one independent. I still think this is the best solution (but of course agree a 1v1, Katsuni vs Zero, would be awesome beyond words).Put a conference call together, moderated and directed by Pkz, a neutral power and authoritative figure.

If u want pkz as neutral moderator to supervise the discussion, what is viper doing there? Is he part of the conflict? Or u just want to get viper there to attract attention because #viperfame?
I'm impressed by Genette's post
I hope both parties work the issue out.
Phew, just read through the original topic and this one now (after an exhausting weekend and a 10hr drive back).
Without having watched the video, I'm gonna make two statements anyway (as Chris / Gentte, not as the Voobly spokesperson, right?)
a) Katsuni should apologize to Zero (in private or not, idc). Attacking people for their physical appearance is low and should never happen on a channel run by Voobly. (I was present when it all happend and I could write a novel here, but that's pretty much the bottom line)
b) I tend to prefer actions over words and I was very happy to see this post by Zero. This shows some good will and since I know how annoying the youtube bulk-editing tool can be, I respect this step a lot.
Zero and the Voobly team don't need to be best friends to co-exist and promote AoC with their means. The past is the past and my biggest issue with Zak recently was that he didn't credit our work as a team when he streamed tournament games organised by us. As I said, this step from Zak shows 100% some good will. No one has mentioned the possibility of Voobly streamers showing recs of TEC games so far. Let me tell you this: If we did, we'd 100% credit ZeroEmpires on the overlay / youtube description and whereever, because this is how things should be done and I'm glad we seem to be on the same page now. I was told that I was quoted out of context (from a private conversation) and that some false statements were made about me (demoted vs. promoted), but I really couldn't care less. Again - actions matter more than words to me.
Cheers,
