I still can't find a good tech tree for the new civs + a changelog for the old ones.
Anyone got a good link?
I got your back. https://pastebin.com/dHEF14CAchangelog for the old ones.
Good to know that the most useless tech was removed: boiling oil.I got your back. https://pastebin.com/dHEF14CA

Daut, hera, t90, mattsalsa and dave played a 3v2 and was perfectly fine. only for a moment they felt some lag and hera said it was his pc working at the limit 11 but the rest of the game ran smoothly.I have only watched some streams, but i have to say it looks pretty good. Turn off the blur, the game started to feel like watching aoe2 again, and if they get tiny wood eventually would be cool.
Im most curious about TG performance as I havent seen it. Thanks for posting changelog trirem, would be nice to see complete list though (or is that the only balance changes they did?)
If a streamer's PC is unable to handle a 5 player match on a 20yo game then I call that terrible.Daut, hera, t90, mattsalsa and dave played a 3v2 and was perfectly fine. only for a moment they felt some lag and hera said it was his pc working at the limit 11 but the rest of the game ran smoothly.
Well is not 20yo anymore 11 is brand new game, and new graphics and textures require more gpu. Hera said his graphic card wasn't good enoughIf a streamer's PC is unable to handle a 5 player match on a 20yo game then I call that terrible.
The issue at hand isn't whether AoE2DE will run smoothly on PCs for $2000, it's whether it'll work for people whose PCs are significantly weaker, because that's who predominantly plays AoE2!
hera has 1050ti, funy how that is not enough for a fkin strategy game, top memes
My laptop is almost 3 years old. Because it is relatively old and not expensive (399 € back then), I doubted it would be good enough, but according to the Steam page it should be, what do you think?Graphic card speed is basically irrelevant. VRAM matters a bit but most likely won't give you a great boost either.
Definitely not a game where having the best graphics card matters.
Single core CPU speed is important, having a good amount of RAM and seemingly how quickly data can be passed between CPU/RAM/GPU.
