I like facts, I like myself and most people around me. I think the greater good is bigger than me. I think in terms of "us", eventhough my belief is that most ppl are pretty stupid., best case ignorant.

-In Sweden, yesterday,70.2% of the grown up population have had 2 shots (about 6 million).
- There are 3 (three) suspicious vaccine related deaths, (one guy drove home and had an lethal encouter with an Elk).
- 100% dying from Covid in Swedish ICUs are unvaccinated (Stats from June 01).
- 80% in ICUs are unvaccinated.
- 60% lack higher education, are born outside of Sweden or has parents that were born outside of Sweden..
- The average age in ICUs are 47, (The elderly and already sick are already deceased).

When it comes to stats. Sweden is very transparent. (The State cant cheat or polish the numbers.

I do believe that it should be up to everyone to get vaccinated or not. But as with everything else every descision comes with a consequence and responsability. If you do not believe in vaccines, stay home. Bury urself in ur mothers basement and let mankind cry over ur stupidity! )

5km from home radius for most things except essential work and health. 9pm curfew unless exempt (essential) as well.

Delta variant spread, my state is at 1200 cases per day, currently in the process of getting vaccinated but long way to go. Federal government didn't buy enough vaccine early enough. Part of the country have closed state borders and are still at zero so depends where you live

Yes, in the Netherlands corona related hospitalization has been increasing rapidly. Bars, restaurant and shops are again closed after 20:00 hours, mouth masks mandatory again in a lot of areas, events have been cancelled etc. etc.

Yes, and I am a bit scared. Numbers are higher than 11 months ago, but many countries haven't done anything yet and there are too many people (including politicians) who won't consider another lockdown (especially speaking about Germany where I live). There might be some more testing and more controls or some cancelled events, but again decisions are made much too late, even more hesitantly than last winter and in spring 2020.
The only thing that makes me be a bit more optimistic is that in the UK where cases have been constantly very high since July and not only on the rise since 1-1.5 months, deaths are much lower than in the last wave.

In the UK hospitalisations have been much lower too (as well as deaths) - though we have yet to drop below ~30,000 cases per day for months (since mid-July), people are also getting booster jabs, older/vulnerable first

If Kim Jong Uns rejection alone wasnt enough in showing how big of a joke its 50%-ish efficacy rate is, not being recognized by most of the developed countries should do the job.

And note that 50% efficacy is about not getting diseased at all. Considering hospitalization and serious cases (effectively preventing death), it nears 100% efficacy.

Turkey applied Sinovac to most of its elderly citizens and healthcare staff because they didn't have access to Pfizer in first months of pandemic and realized it is not protective at all, then Biontech 3rd and 4th doses are applied to people now.

I only don't agree with the "it is not protective at all" part. It IS protective and that's proved by scientific studies. Anedotic evidences are irrelevant in comparison.

Other than that, of course sinovac is worse than Pfizer or Janssen, and yeah a 3rd dose is needed at some moment. But I think it'll be the destiny of any vaccines, even the best ones. Janssen already needs a 2nd dose even though it was released as a "unique dose" vaccine. And still saved millions of lives worldwide, of peoples that wouldn't have access to a vaccine otherwise.
