So far this event already has produced one of my alltime favourite matches:

This was the first match since KOTD that I really was invested in. Absolute madness.
Really surprised of how many good games there are this early into the tournament. Didn't read up on how the seeding was done, but together with the off meta maps something was definitely done right.

Can i ask for the following: Going foward, Please add the starting times for the respective days to the AoeZone calendar. It would be great to quickly know when to tune in on the specific days (e.g. today!!).

(unfortunately i saw some crap "winter championship" in the calendar for today, which almost made me throw up because it reminded me again of what a shi.tty game aoe4 is lol)

A quick glance at the handbook: the games have been played already, but they are streamed tomorrow and sunday, starting 15 GMT. The set between Daut and Villese is probably the first to be casted.

he plays japanese taking all advantages posibles. thats all. Fishing ships, cheap mills, cheap lumber camps, towers, trebs, maybe best halbs in the game, full upgraded skirms. Here the map helps with the less mobility because it was not an open map with all the water in the middle. at the end he also could do HCA, that have full upgrades too. i would love to see some sams but against italians its not posible.

How are recorded games handled? Because if it's the winner uploading them or up to the players to decide that can be a massive spoiler with CA showing the age up message in the game language (for whatever reason) unless i'm missing something here.

Maybe it's a just a coincidence or something, but with Yo vs Slam and then yesterday Yo vs Hera as soon as i saw chinese letters i thought "oh okay so Yo won"

Just want to make sure that it doesn't actually is like this 11

I have to admit that except for TheViper, I do not think there was anyone with a convincing performance throughout the tournament. He may not lose a single game tomorrow.

So, if that is true, that is his fault since the players could play freely anytime during the week (the games were casted as recs). I'm sure, him and Viper both being full time, they could have found a reasonable time working for both of them.

If you're theorizing it based on the time the games were casted however, well, they were recs, the players had already played during the past week.

Then it was my mistake. I thought it was a live stream since quarter finals, but I was wrong, it only go live on grand final.

At the beginning of the game, Viper placed a gate foundation between the boar and Yo’s tc. If Yo heard the sound and thought Viper had walled the boar out from him, it might’ve pushed him to take the boar sooner than he should have.
