Will DE replace voobly?(Discussion thread)

I see you trying to undermine every bad review and suggestion of improvement for DE in every post. I am curious, do you think the game is perfect at this point?

Sad to hear that, no, not at all, game is far from being perfect, but I wanna believe that it has already made the first steps onto the right direction. Im reporting bugs and giving suggestions to improve the game in the official forums (a lot). Lets say Im just an aoe2 / forgotten empires fanboy as you can see in my signature

As soon as everyone buys a fine computer.. Voobly will survive until then but the player base is bound to shrink eventually.

As of the release of AoE2DE Microsoft won the battle of User Experience Graphics and Multiplayer - Things that Voobly failed to improve over the past years. But Voobly's death is a long due process or unlikely since there would be days where DE servers go down for hours and then streamers would resort to Voobly.

The only way out for Voobly is a DE compatibility patch as well as their own implementation of server sided multiplayer, modernizing the client/website and building an actual match making system. This could take a lot of money and energy but totally worth it -- Or would they settle for a gg?

I think DE will struggle if the ranked matchmaking stays as it is. I made a video about what I think needs to change in order for DE to be interesting to existing voobly players:

They need to address your suggestions asap or else it is just a matter of a few months before players would suffer ladder anxiety.
