3-4th) Hera - 15%
3-4th) Yo - 10%
5th) MbL - 4%
6th - 7th) DauT/Jordan - 3% each
8-11th) Vinchester/TatoH/Nicov/Villesse 2% each
12th) ACCM - 1,5%
13-16th) Sitaux, Capoch, Valas, Daniel - this order, with all respect their combined chance to win RBW is IMO lower than 1%
Reaching Semis isn't entirely off for any of the 5th - 12th though, all with a reasonable shot for QFs, all should be well prepared. It's EW, fast mode about execution, big stage, 1 chance. Very easy to get nerves, make small mistakes which just snowballs extremely in EW.

I get the typical "lierrey doesn't practice and still performs" argument, but for this tournament Lierrey really hasnt been playing.
If he can emerge from his military commitment with a fraction of the practice as all of the other pros and still come out top 4, it would be pretty impressive

Rooting for Viper and I think he's a very slim favorite, but it's close.

I don't think Liereyy is in top shape. Obviously we don't know how much he plays behind closed doors but he hasn't been impressive lately. I think he's out of contention for the title, but you can never rule him out, especially on EW.

Hera, Vinchester and Yo are to me the three that are the most serious challengers to Viper.
Oddly though, I'd favor Yo in final vs Viper, but not in the early stages, while I think Hera and Vinch would never beat Viper in a final, but could definitely upset him in earlier rounds. "Killer" instinct perhaps.

I don't think anyone else but these 5 has a chance to win.

To rank them from most to least likely: Viper - Yo - Hera - Vinchester - Liereyy.

I don't think people realize how good Liereyy performed in Finals in RBW5. Apart from the fact that he went undefeated in the Group Stage where he was the only player to actually beat TheViper in a set in the whole LAN, and also going neck-and-neck 3-4 in the Grand Finals, I think Liereyy still is my favorite. Viper is indeed getting old, and I fear for him, AoE4 will inevitably suck up some of his attention, and he cannot afford any mistakes vs Liereyy.

I rewatched the Grand Finals of RBW5 recently and Viper was absolutely pushed to his limits in that last game. It felt almost over in min 5 when Liereyy was able to pull off the greedy FC vs Viper's full feudal play, and if only Liereyy went 1 TC, i think the snake would have gone down. 3 out of the 4 wins of Liereyy were with civs : Franks, Magyars and Tatars, so Liereyy is no stranger to cavalry plays, his iconic faster imp arbalest strategy in EW is not the only strat he is good at.

Considering LAN settings and general consensus, it's safe to assume TheViper, Liereyy, Hera and Yo are the 4 most likely players to win the competition.

With all due to respect to Hera, I do not think he is as complete of a player as the other 3. In RM, he might win Yo mechanically, he might win Liereyy strategically, but in EW I do not think he has shown enough. The only player I think capable of toppling TheViper is Liereyy. Yo comes close but not nearly enough to beat TheViper in terms of speed and execution.

Brackets may also factor in. I think it will be a race of who beats Liereyy this time, not who beats TheViper. Liereyy probably wins either Yo or Hera if he faces them in the Semis. TheViper vs Yo or TheViper vs Hera would be the 2nd most competitive set in the whole tournament if they were to face in the semis. I can't see Yo beating Liereyy in the semis or even in the finals. Hera may have a better shot vs Liereyy in the semis in a BO5 but in finals I think Liereyy wins Hera.

I'm hesitant to say Viper is the #1 favourite as his attention is divided with Aoe4. Honestly if I had to pick anybody it would probably be Hera. Not sure about Yo and Liereyy doesn't seem to be playing at all.

Well if Viper plans to train even some for aoe4 I doubt he can compete with hera or liereyy(assuming that rumours are true and he is already training). Hera grinds probably most of the all, he sometimes underperforms in tournaments, also LAN is bit different, but I think Hera going to take this one. Also would be quite good, as he didn't win a single RBW yet, so bigger distribution on titles is good

Last competitive event I saw Lierey in was legitimately the worst form I've seen him in since he was an up and coming player. I was really taken aback by that.

With that in mind I'd probably say Viper is the favorite but it wouldn't surprise me if Vinchester made a deep run.
