Dunno, a good place to start would be to change your mindset. Thinking you are gonna get destroyed (however likely) before the games have even been played is the same as forfeiting. Grow some balls bro.

In general if you are outskilled enough, there is no chance of winning. My point was that the best chance to do well involves making unit combos and teamwork. Any weird strategies will get wrecked just like they would if both played 1v1 at the same time. If you can start the game by walling and then doubling someones army, thats as good as you will get.

Their chances to have a better team work than their opponent is under 0, your strategies might be the best for timotheus+you but for two 17+ that don’t play often together and way less than Lyx+yo, i am forcing to disagree with saying going sc+arch and try double is best shot, canceric strategies, unexpected, surprising, dangerous strat is their best chances. They won’t improvise a team play and mastering bo and experience in so few times, but unexpected strat/all in/sling could turn out to be better for them

Tbh, and this isn't a morale boosting post, just give up trying to make those two struggle or finding the "best" objective plan.

Just do whatever you and your friend are best at given the situation, because this is a chance to see how two of the finest will play against it. Undeniably a great learning experience.

There is high chances too that favorit team don’t take seriously the first rounds, play far from their level or troll, why would give up trying something to take a game or to make a game closest possible ? Happened in many tournament and will still happen
