You are allowed to ask if you allow me to ask why it matters.May I ask what your ELO is?
What is your ELO?You are allowed to ask if you allow me to ask why it matters.
It is roughly 1k. Note that I do not use 10 very frequently myself, in part because I haven't trained hitting middle numbers (6 and 7) very diligently. My point was more that it is a useful capacity given to the player by the game so they should be able to utilize it if necessary. What is your ELO?
The reason am I asking is because I am curious to see what the ELO is of a person that uses 10 control groups.
Close. It is Elite War Elephant.OG price for Elite Cata?
The only number which matters when playing you is '105' /s1300

Are the only numbers you need to know.
Oh darn I thought Snippy was just meming to mock me. Guess you learn something new every day. This does validate the notion of using more than four control groups at least. Very helpful explanation of how you use them so thank you for sharing. I will have to try with the modifier key to see how I like it. I have 8-0 on mouse buttons so only 6 and 7 (or just 7 for you I guess) are problematic but having the ability to double up on a specific number seems like it could be very helpful in some cases for fluency.Personally I find the hotkeys 11-16 more useful than 7-10, since for me pressing the modifier key feels faster than moving my left hand across the keyboard. Moving 1 finger as opposed to my wrist just seems smoother and less chance of a misclick. I know a lot of people prefer to keep modifier keys to a minimum though.
Sometimes I'll use 7-10 for monks if I want to try and get efficient conversions. Generally though for me it's 1 for starting scout -> melee units later on, 2 for ranged units, 3 for stable/rax, 4 for ranged units, 5 & 6 for mangos/trebs/rams/other units. Then I'll use 11-16 if I need more than one control group for any of the above. Obviously this is all just personal preference tough and depends on a bunch of factors like what kind of keyboard you have, how quick and dextrous your fingers are etc.
