So the general saying is always "I can't tell the exact numbers, I do it intuitively" when you ask top players about how much vils you need on x for y. And obviously, it depends on a lot of things when the game continues. But still, there are some numbers around and I think especially when it comes to coaching/training it can help to have some orientation in certain informations. So what are some numbers that you know/use for certain situations?
Would put it into 4 categories:
Build-up numbers:
6 on sheep
3-4 on wood
4 on berries
4 fishing ships when there's water
Feudal numbers:
12 on wood, 8 on gold for 2 ranges archer production (9/3 during clicking up), farms until you have 18
Wheelbarrow after ~14 farms
Transitional numbers:
12 (?) on gold for 2 stable knights
Late game numbers:
produce vils to ~120-130
i'd say: over 50 farms for a food heavy army (like Hussar spam)
would be interested for example in some numbers for wood in certain situations as I never feel like having a good balance there. how many do you keep on wood for a pure 3tc boom on Arena for example?
