The lack of clarity in the original match details would leave no one in doubt that it had been in need of some changes. The Voobly team has therefore come up with a new design which makes it much easier to take in the players' names, their civilisation and the score, not to mention the far better accessibility of downloads which now appear at the top.
Futhermore, country flags can now be found next to the players' names to facilitate distinguishing players from one another and give Voobly a more international feel. A total of 111 flags have been added, changed or corrected as some of them had been missing or outdated. The current number of near 250 national flags should therefore make it highly improbable for someone to be still sporting a gray question mark instead of their nation's colours.
Aside from the visual improvement, a known technical issue with rejoining should as of now be successfully resolved so that players wouldn't have to undergo the tiresome process of going back to the lobby and entering the game again.
Last but not least, the Voobly team has been carrying out tests with the intention of enabling a „router bypass“ for those unlucky ones whose access to playing AoC online is being hindered by troublesome router settings, port-forwarding, firewalls, IP address issues and the like. This major change has not yet been implemented but hopefully it will not take long and Voobly will finally be fully available for the whole community.
