Like Daut said, it's natural that they want to get their share of money but the big problem with this is that they advertise themselves as "volunteers" and "non-profit company". One explanation to the secrecy that came to my mind is maybe they want to keep up the belief that even the top guys are only working as volunteers so ones at the bottom of hierarcy (moderators) won't start requiring salary for their work?
