I'm obviously missing something here since literally everybody seems to be outraged at this, but is it really that big of a deal to just put a tiny Voobly logo on a corner whenever you're playing on Voobly? I don't know...Seems like a bit too much drama over such an inucuous demand...
What definitely seems out of place is the way chris frames his posts. Always trying to sell this narrative that Streamers keep abusing the good will of the poor Voobly volunteers and give nothing back, which we obviously know it's not true. Voobly keeps growing thanks mostly to the popularity of Memb, Viper, T90 and so on. Refusing to acknowledge this is refusing to see what's right in front of your eyes.
So yes chris can't communicate and comes across as an extremely arrogant individual.
None of this would have happened if he would actually have talked to streamers before pushing these rules without a warning.
But still...All of this outrage for a tiny logo no one will even notice? Don't know, seems a bit extreme.
I agree, the hysteria (lets all leave Voobly etc) is a bit much, but I think it’s more the way the changes are being rolled out. Little to no consultation with the streamers, heavy-handed threats if people don’t comply, giving people one day’s notice to implement the changes, etc
Could all be handled with far more grace and tact, IMO.
