Very weird mangonel bug

So, we all know that Sicilian bonus makes your mangonels take less damage and not get oneshot, but in this case, I was playing Vietnamese vs Aztecs, and my mangonels always survived a head on collision, which obviously gave a huge advantage to me, how can that happen? 11 (my opponent was just as confused what was happening)

I attached a rec also if anyone's curious, the only thing I can think off is the fact that I had Sicilians prepicked in case my opponent picks civ, but we got random so... no clue 11

This seems to be a recurring DE bug

I've first seen it a year ago, when a new patch introduced it, later it was patched again:

Now with the new patch, I saw I think Hera have the same bug a few days ago

After seeing the rec, there were only some occasions, which looked weird.
The first engagements weren't weird at all because you had the elevation. The last engagement, where your opponent paused after, was the only really weird situation. Can't tell, what may have caused it, it looked like he was using attack ground and the bonus dmg vs siege wasn't applied correctly.
The other was where both of your mangonels survived a direct hit. So it happened to him aswell.
I don't think it has anything to do with the sicilian bonus, but I heard that mangonel shots can be a bit weird on DE.

It's an old bug that was patched, but as is tradition with DE, every new patch seems to re-break previous things that were fixed.

I think I had this bug today, my opponent and I shot at the same time without moving our mangonels and both survived with 1 hp remaining.

I just watched an AgeofNoob video on it. It’s a bug where, for some reason, when you use right click, mangos standing still aren’t killed by direct hits but moving ones are. https://youtu.be/BlzHL3GqNJw
