I think Jordan, Viper and Kkab's understanding of the game is way better than the rest of the players. Jordan at times is single handedly carrying his team. His performance against kkab on LN was brilliant.
Relic Warp is a bug, ES didn't intend to make it. The repair range was intended. Please note that my opinion on the tower bug is just an opinion. He wouldn't have gotten any punishment from abusing it as there are no rules against it. But someone said earlier that if it's in the game, it's a part of it, so they must think the relic warp thing as mentioned isn't foul play either then?

To clarify about repairing from a distance, ES intentionally set up the repair code, so that villagers could repair from up to 2 tiles away from the target. When directed to repair something, villagers will attempt to walk in order to be directly adjacent to the repair target, but if their path is blocked (palisaded in, etc.), they will still be able to repair the target if it's within the 2 tile limit. This behavior existed in v1.0c and earlier, and has not been fixed/adjusted in v1.4. This is not limited to towers, either. If I had to guess why ES did this, it would be to allow for a better gameplay experience for repairers pathing to fix ships slightly out of reach of the beach, but that's just a guess lol
Here's a scenario you can try in 1.0c (or 1.4), where you can see the 2 tile repair distance. Just use the onager to attack-ground your mill once, lock the gate, and then you can use a villager to repair the mill from outside:

his point is scripter said ES probably included it for ship repairing where pathfinding always sucks, not vils to palisade themselves off from towers and repair at range... an oversight.Don't know what to tell you then. Guess you think you know more about how the game was scripted than scripter64 or something. He says unequivocally that it was INTENDED by ES, and you're gonna sit here and continue to argue that it wasn't... admirable, really.. redefining the "going out on your shield" game.
