Scheduling rules
The timeframes from each round is around 1 week long. If teams cannot organize a game suitable for both admin-times and themselves, they may reschedule to another time by discussing the matter with an admin. Nonetheless, players should make their best effort to schedule the match in a time it is good for both admin and the players. If a team can't field at least 2 players to at latest 30 minutes after the series was scheduled, the other team will recieve a 3-0 admin win. Multiple missed series will result in the team being replaced from the tournament. In the case of emergency, please notify me as soon as possible to organize a rescheduling.
Teams will be then ranked by the number of series wins, and the two best teams from each group will advance to the main event. Tiebraker criteria:
1. Winner of the series between the teams tied
2. In case of 3-team ties, when (1) criteria cannot be applied: number of match victories
3. Number of wins on the opponents' home maps
The group stage will consist of BO5 Series, with the maps being used as follows:
1. TP_Arabia
2. Loser of G1 Home map
3. Winner of G1 HM
4. Loser of G3 HM
5. Winner of G3 HM
Map drafting:
Bans: BA
HM Picks: ABBA
AB is picked for G2 and G3
BA is picked for G4 and G5
where A is the lower-seeded team within the group. A map may only be picked once globally (=no map repeats).

Civilization Drafting:
Each team has one global ban for a series. Each team will use two pools (Pool 1 and Pool 2). Every match, one of the players from a certain team will have to select a civ from Pool 1, the other player from Pool 2. It is up to the players to decide which player picks from which pool, and it can be changed between games. Pool 1 will be drafted by the teams first, with team in the regular ABBA... order. After that, Pool 2 will be drafted. For Team A, Pool 2 will be drafted by Team B and vice versa. A civilization may only be used once globally.
Civilization drafting will be done in the lobby in the presence of an admin. To make it easier to overview, a spreadsheet will also be filled up with the picks and bans by the tournament administration. The spreadsheet will be accessible to view for all players/casters.

Restarts and Admin Restarts
Each team will have one chance to call a restart once in each series, by typing "re" in the global game chat until the 4:00 mark. Players should use "Save and exit" in the case of restarts.
In case of a villager is trapped, or buildings are missing (for Regicide Fortress), use global chat until the 2:00 mark in-game. Trapped villagers and missing buildings count as admin restarts.
Bugged map restarts: In the case of resources missing/trapped or bugged, a team can request an admin-re until the 6:00 by typing in the global chat. In the case of Gold/Stone and Berries, at least half of the tiles have to be accessible from at least one side with a reasonably placed mill/mining camp. This applies to both primary and secondary resources, but not neutral ones. It also applies for Regicide Fortress, having buildings spawned right next to the resource counts as a blocked side, and the upper rules apply.
In-game rules
Players are not allowed to delete the straggler trees which spawn within 10 tiles of an opposing player’s TC.
This rule does not apply if the straggler tree which is being deleted forms part of a wall for the defending player.
Slinging is heavily nerfed with a very high-tax rate applied. Coinage have been moved to Imperial Age. After reaching Imperial age AND the research of coinage, slinging is accessible. Please keep this in mind, as all resources sent before will disappear, since there is no method of disabling the buttons completely.
Finally, in all stages/events of the Tournament, players are required to keep proper respect and behavior towards their opponents, casters, etc. Failure to do so may result in prize-reduction for the team, or disqualification.
Streaming policy:
POV-Streaming: Players are kindly asked not to stream their POV's. If they wish to cast the other players' games on their channel, they are welcome to do it. In the latter case, please state your viewers the details of the event as requested in the Casting section of Rules & Settings.
Casting: The Group-stage is open-casting for all interested streamers. The lobby will be PW-protected, so please signal your intentions to cast before the series start (the earlier, the better ). The lobby PW should be considered a confidential information. Also, casters are required to fulfill the casting requirements (displaying logo and adding chat command) as discussed in the Rules & Settings. Failure to obey the casting rules will result in revoking the casting rights of the event from your channel.
Casters are also provided a Cheat-Sheet for the easy access of information. Feel free to use it during your streams if you require any information quick:
