I wanted to make this topic to show how streaming is currently being handled for the DotA2 $3,000,000 major qualification stage.
There was a case made hundreds of times that AoE events should only be streamed on a single stream, for the longest time I was always vocal about opening up the possibility to stream the same games on multiple streams. This was always rejected and streaming was exclusive.
It seems that things are different now and have changed since I left AoC in January. However, here is a real demonstration of how the DotA2 qualifications look right now, you have streams in different languages, streams organized by popular casters/players and streams organized by studios.

As you can see, AdmiralBulldog (Former DotA2 pro) is the third most popular stream here. With the first being the Russian stream and the second being a popular streaming studio. I see this as a very positive thing for the DotA community, viewers have the ultimate choice here and get to watch the stream that best suits them. If it's the popular stream or the less popular stream, this entire page of streamers mostly have over 1k viewers each, whilst covering the same event.
I'd like to see this in AoC, and I hope that it will continue in this direction going forward.
By the way, Escape Gaming (My Team) is playing in these qualifications. Cheer for us :D
